Our Story
In 2011, we founded Parametric GmbH in Seftigen, BE, Switzerland to deliver high-quality R&D services for third parties.
By 2012, we were leading full software projects and formal requirements management, bringing structure and accountability to complex engineering work.

Our Story
In 2013, we engineered hardware for NEEO’s home automation platform, took our first steps into rail technology and defense, and rolled out the first RAR4 (3G) deployments.
In 2014, we moved from Uetendorf to Interlaken and delivered our first service center project—replacing power supplies in building control systems to keep critical infrastructure running.

Our Story
In 2015, we delivered device and software for Swisscom’s infrastructure monitoring, shipped the first 1,000 RAR4 hardware units, and co-developed a LoRaWAN timestamping gateway reference design with Aartesys for Semtech.
In 2016, we took our display tech to the forecourt with the first rollout of Parabright DENEB petrol station screens.

Our Story
We grew in 2017, extending our Interlaken Aareckstrasse office and building the PCR radar sensor for Swiss Post.
In 2018, momentum accelerated: the RAR4 software platform went live; 1,000 Parabright DENEB screens were delivered; 3,500 RAR4 units shipped with first LTE versions; the PCR2 sensor was developed; satellite payloads were delivered to Lacuna Space; and RAR4 went live for ABB in Adelaide, Australia.

Our Story
In 2019, we launched TOPSNAP-LR with first deployments, moved to Waldeggstrasse 82, conducted our first 5G tests with SBB (SmartRail 4.0), began the EU project Cloud Based CBTC, developed the TCR sensor, and shipped second-generation Parabright petrol station screens.
In 2020, we built the RDR RFID reader, expanded our Waldeggstrasse warehouse, reached 1,500 Parabright DENEB screens in operation, and our service center converted 2,000 rail routers to LTE.

Our Story
In 2021, we developed the SBX battery charger for radar sensors and delivered a second project with ABB Australia for Queensland Rail.
In 2022, we launched the ALGOL platform, completed our first RET platform project—electronic LED posters in F12 format—and moved our headquarters to Industriestrasse 19 in Wilderswil.

Our Story
2023 marked the spin-off of PMX Systems AG, enabling sharper product focus.
In 2024, we spun off Parasigna AG and added a new branch office in Bern at Belpstrasse 37 to support growth and collaboration.

Our Story
In 2025, we launched our Consulting Partner Program, expanding delivery with trusted experts.
We also introduced RETWiz, the analysis software for our Real-time Edge Telemetry (RET) system: onboard devices capture sound, vibration, temperature, weather and more; AI flags patterns and risks in the cloud; a simple web app turns it into clear, drill-down insights—helping keep transport safer, more reliable and more efficient.
Mission & Vision
The Intelligence Behind Mobility
Mission
Deliver dependable, serviceable technology—sensors, connectivity, and cloud analytics—that operators trust for condition monitoring and remote operations at scale.
Vision
A world where fleets are always connected, continuously monitored, and maintained before failures occur.
Engineering
Design wireless and embedded systems that keep fleets running in harsh rail and industrial conditions.
You get: robust designs validated for EMC and safety, serviceable hardware/firmware, and compliance-ready documentation.
Requirements Management
Keep projects on track with clear, traceable requirements from kickoff to acceptance.
You get: transparent scope, change control, testable criteria, and procurement-ready specs—fewer surprises, faster approvals.
Retrofit & Modifications
Extend the life of existing assets instead of replacing them.
You get: lab-tested hardware adaptations, MRO actions, and on-site upgrades that reduce downtime and total cost of ownership.
Connectivity & Remote Access
See vehicles and machines in real time—securely, from anywhere.
You get: encrypted LTE/5G links, role-based access, audit trails, and remote diagnostics/updates built for critical environments.
System Integration
Fit edge devices and analytics into your stack—cloud or on-prem.
You get: open APIs, modern protocols (e.g., MQTT/REST), identity integration, and tested interfaces that play nicely with IT/OT.
Operation & Evaluations
Turn data into decisions without adding workload.
